Tips For Collecting Old Money

Posted on August 16th, 2008 in Uncategorized by leafs4594 || No Comment

One of the most common hobbies is collecting money. Many people have enjoyed this activity for decades and money collecting is thriving even today. As a hobby, collecting money means collecting old money. Otherwise, we are all trying to collect money before the bills come. However, do you know how many people collect old money, antique notes and coins from previous decades and even centuries?

Coin collectors are much more common than old money collectors of the paper variety, though the latter are still quite active and manage to find some rare items occasionally. That paper variety may include pre US colonial currency, money from the beginning of the 19th century, currency from the Confederate States of America and also some souvenir cards of old money as the money itself are almost impossible to find and twice as hard to purchase.

If you are keen on collecting old money you will probably know that a collector’s item of old money is called fractional currency. I was really intrigued when I learnt that during the Civil War the United States began printing 50 cents, 25 cents, 15 cents, 10 cents and 5 cents paper money as they run short on change. Now such weird banknotes are highly desired by any true collector.

There is also other interesting fractional currency which is much sought after. These are private banknotes from the 1800s. Before the US government created a national banknote there were some banks issuing their own money without government backing. However, it was not long before these banks were closed down and the banknotes were counterfeited and altered.

Once the national bank system was established, privately issued bank money was declared to be illegal. Ever since US government money was issued it has retained monetary value. However, it is not the same case with the obsolete old bills from closed banks and this is the prime reason why these banknotes are worth finding. Actually private banknotes from the 1800s have remained an interesting item for collectors throughout the centuries.

It is pretty evident that a lot of old money has significant value nowadays. It is true that casual collectors cannot afford to have any authentic old money and notes from the 1800s and early 1900s as their value and consequently price are too high. That’s how collecting souvenir cards are becoming more and more popular. Having them you can collect a piece of history without actually paying a high price for it.

If you are wondering where you can find old money, you probably won’t like my answer. It is really difficult to find old money. Of course, you might still be able to collect a Thomas Jefferson two dollar bill, but those antique coins and notes you are seeking won’t be easily found, nor purchased. The easiest way to satisfy your desire to collect old money is through dealers, collectors, auctions and old money paper shows.

You might also find the International Bank Note Society’s Journal and webpage not only very interesting but useful, as well. They offer contact information for trades and auctions and what is the best, they provide you with images of old currency on their website. In conclusion, old money collecting is a unique and fun hobby. It has its challenges but it there is no doubt it is worth taking.

Waxing Hair Removal - Tips For Best Results

Posted on August 16th, 2008 in Uncategorized by leafs4594 || No Comment

To avoid the skin appearing darker after waxing, be careful not to expose the treated area to the sun for 48 hours after treatment.

Alternatively use a good sun blocker cream on newly treated areas.

Be sure to test a small area of skin first to make sure there is no acute sensitivity or allergic reaction to the process.

Hair should be at least 1/8 inch long. If it isn’t wait until it reaches this length.

Be sure to wash the skin thoroughly and dry it well beforehand to remove any lotions or oils which may prevent the wax from adhering closely to the skin.

Heat the wax carefully so as not to overheat and thus burn the skin when applying. Test on a small area first.

The consistency should be soft rather than runny.

If pain and discomfort is a main concern use a pain reducing gel or cream available from pharmacists. These solutions should be applied 30 to 60 minutes before waxing so the skin is numbed beforehand.

Apply a thin layer of wax in the direction of the hair growth, preferably holding the spatula or tongue depresser at a 45 degree angle as you spread the wax.

When applying the cotton strip over the wax, rub in the same direction as the hair growth leaving about 1/3 of the strip free to allow for a firm grip for a fast back pulling action.

Pull the skin taut before pulling the cotton strip away.

Pull back with a rapid movement close to the skin. Do not pull up or out, rather pull back. One fast, smooth, pull back is much more effective than a series of light pulls which only increase the pain and leave patchy areas.

Clean the skin with a warm moist towel afterwards to remove excess wax.

Avoid showering and making the hair wet prior to hair waxing. Hair absorbs the water making it soft and less likely to adhere well to the wax. Tough hair is easier to pull off.

Avoid wearing tight clothing over freshly waxed areas to minimize the risk of irritation and ingrown hairs.

After 24-48 hours exfoliate the skin (with a Loofa sponge for example) to prevent the dead skin from accumulating in areas that can become ingrown such as the bikini line, upper thighs, underarms and calves.

If acne is a problem, wait until the skin has healed before hair waxing to avoid further irritating this sensitive condition.

***Extra Tips For Facial Hair***

For facial hair use wax at a lower temperature than the rest of the body.

Use one hand to hold the skin taught.

Spread the wax very thinly.

Only treat small areas at a time.

Mike Jones is a writer and webmaster with over 10 years experience. His recommendation: To make waxing hair removal much easier and less frequent, always apply a hair inhibitor after each waxing session. Click here for details: www.1bodycare.com/kalo.htm http://www.1bodycare.com/kalo.htm

Don’t Underestimate Paintball Girls

Posted on August 16th, 2008 in Uncategorized by leafs4594 || No Comment

If you think paintball is a game only for the guys, then you are in for a surprise. Many girls also enjoy the game and are starting to make their presence known in the world of paintball. There is always an all female team in every major tournament for paintball and many females turn out to participate. And some of them are exceptional players. Just because the players are girls, don’t let it fool you into thinking they are not formidable.

Actually, some say that paintball girls are better suited for the game and have an advantage over males on the field. For one reason, females are usually smaller and are therefore harder to hit and it is easier for them to hide. Also paintball girls tend to be more patient than their male counterparts and will therefore have no problems out waiting an opponent until he outs himself. Some have noted that paintball girls tend to bond quicker and better than the males and therefore work together better as a team.

Paintball girls don’t like to be restricted to playing amongst all girls however, but are eager to compete against the men on the paintball field. Most of the paintball tournaments have at least a few girls competing against men.

The all girl paintball teams have taken down many all male paintball teams. Not only do these paintball girls have to be tough and strong to go up against the men, but they have also had to overcome a lot of obstacles to be able to compete in tournaments. Paintball girls may look meek and somewhat fragile, but in this case, appearances are quite misleading. They can use this to their advantage too as men tend to underestimate the ability of female players of paintball. Most paintball girls are extremely serious about the sport and they are very good at it.

Women are no different from men in the beginning because everyone hesitates to suffer the pain of being shot. And getting hit by a paintball can be extremely painful. But once the game gets underway and the adrenaline kicks in, some paintball girls get hooked; and who could blame them? Paintball is an exciting game that is quite competitive but is also fun to play.

So if you thought paintball was just a guy’s game, you can see that isn’t the case. Women are quickly joining the ranks of exceptional paintball players and many have become aficionados of the game. The next time you are on the paintball field, watch out for those paintball girls, they make for formidable opponents.

Are Leaders Born or Made?

Posted on August 16th, 2008 in Uncategorized by leafs4594 || No Comment

For centuries people have debated whether leaders are born or made. Several decades ago researchers started trying to answer the question. The debate goes on, even though we know the answer.

It turns out to be a little of both. Leaders are sort of born and they’re always made. Knowing the details will help you develop effective leaders for your company.

Leaders are Sort of Born

It seems like there’s only one thing that a person needs to actually be born with in order to be a leader later in life. That’s intelligence. A leader needs to be smart enough.

Effective leaders aren’t necessarily the smartest people in the room or the company or even on the team. But they have to be smart enough to do the job they’re assigned.

What’s more important is what kind of person the potential leader is when he or she becomes an adult. The person who emerges from adolescence into young adulthood has the psychological and character traits they’ll demonstrate for the rest of their life. Some of those matter for leadership.

By the time a person becomes an adult we can tell if they can help other people achieve results. That, after all, is what we expect leaders to do. We expect them to achieve success through a group. We expect them to help their subordinates grow and develop.

By the time a person becomes an adult, we can tell if they want to achieve objectives or if they just want to go along and take it easy. We expect leaders to be responsible for achieving results. You can have a marvelous life without a results focus, but if you’re going to lead successfully you have to have the drive and willingness to be measured by the results of your leadership.

By the time a person becomes an adult, we can tell if they are willing to make decisions or not. Lots of people wake up every day and let the world happen to them. But leaders must be able and willing to make decisions that affect themselves and others.

By the time a person becomes an adult we can tell if they have the basic qualities that we expect leaders to have. We can determine if they’re smart enough to do the job. We can tell if they are willing to help others to achieve results as a group. And we can tell if they will make decisions.

Those things are essential. People who have them can learn the multiple skills it takes for them to become effective leaders.

No matter how they measure up on the key essentials, no one emerges from the womb or from adolescence with all the skills in place to be an effective leader. Everybody has to learn the job. That’s why leaders are always made.

Leaders are Always Made

Leadership can be learned by anyone with the basics. But an awful lot of leadership cannot be taught.

That’s because leadership is an apprentice trade. Leaders learn about 80 percent of their craft on the job.

They learn from watching other leaders and emulating their behavior. They choose role models and seek out mentors. They ask other leaders about how to handle situations.

Leaders improve by getting feedback and using it. The best leaders seek feedback from their boss, their peers and their subordinates. Then they modify their behavior so that they get better results.

Leaders learn by trying things out and then critiquing their performance. The only failure they recognize is the failure to learn from experience.

In their book, Geeks and Geezers, Warren Bennis and Robert Thomas identify the special power of what they call crucibles. These are trials which teach hard lessons that leaders use as the basis of their strength in later crises. Many of these events can be called failures, but leaders turn the bad situation to good by learning from it.

Effective leaders take control of their own development. They seek out training opportunities that will make a difference that will make a difference in their performance.

Effective leaders look for training programs that will help them develop specific skills that they can use on the job. Then, they when they return to work, they devote specific, deliberate effort to mastering in real life what they learned in the classroom.

Marshall Goldsmith and Howard Morgan studied the progress of 88,000 managers who had been to leadership development training. The people who returned from the training, talked about it, and did deliberate work to apply their learning were judged as becoming more effective leaders. The ones who didn’t showed no improvement.

If you’re responsible for leadership development for your company, you should structure your support for your leaders to recognize that most leadership learning happens on the job. Help people develop leadership development plans. Help them select specific skills training and then work on transferring skills from the training to the job. Help them find role models, mentors and peers to discuss leadership issues.

Help your leaders get feedback from their boss, peers and subordinates. Work to create the culture of candor that will make that feedback helpful and effective.

Don’t stop there. Make sure that you evaluate your leaders on their leadership work. Reward them and hold them accountable for accomplishing the mission through the group. And hold them accountable for caring for their people and helping them grow and develop.

A Leader’s Growth is Never Done

Leadership learning is a lifetime activity. You’re never done because there’s always more to learn. There are always skills you need to improve.

Effective leaders seek out development opportunities that will help them learn new skills. Those might be project assignments or job changes. What they have in common is that the leader develops knowledge and skills that can be used elsewhere.

Effective leaders also seek out opportunities that will increase their visibility. The fact is that great performance alone will not propel you to the top in your career. You also have to be visible to people who make decisions about promotions and assignments.

If you’re responsible for developing leaders in your company, set up programs to give your leaders both kinds of development opportunities over the course of their careers.

There’s no magic formula for developing quality leaders in your company. But if you select potential leaders with the essential traits, then support them with training, feedback, on-the-job learning and development experiences and hold them accountable for results, you’ll have the leaders you need to shape your company’s future.

The Many Benefits of Online Christmas Shopping

Posted on August 16th, 2008 in Uncategorized by leafs4594 || No Comment

Over the past decade consumers have grown to appreciate a new option in shopping for gifts for Christmas: the internet. Yes, online shopping is here and it is an increasingly important choice for consumers everywhere. Without even leaving your home you can compare products, make purchases, and have gifts sent to your home or directly to your recipients — fully wrapped at that! Read on and we’ll take a complete look at the many benefits of online Christmas shopping and how you can make this choice work to your advantage.

Comparison Shopping - How many times have you been to the store and wondered if the item you were purchasing was cheaper somewhere else? For low cost items this isn’t too big of a deal, but if you are buying a television, computer equipment, jewelry, or some other item costing several hundred dollars it could be a significant issue for you. Fortunately, online sites such as Price Grabber, My Simon, BizRate, and NexTag allow you to find just what you want at the lowest possible prices. New technologies that work from your cell phone, such as Frucall, can also help you find the best prices and allow you to place your order immediately. Save money, time, and gas by comparison shopping from your home: no running from store to store in pursuit of finding the best prices.

Best Selection - If something is being sold somewhere, likely it is available to you online. From futons to MP3 players and everything in between if it is sold in a store then likely it is also sold online. Even traditional “brick and mortar” retailers such as Wal-Mart, Nordstrom, and Home Depot know that in order to reach consumers everywhere a significant part of their inventory must be available to you online. If they don’t provide this service to you then they fully understand that their competition will and that you’ll go elsewhere.

Secured Shopping - Most identity theft does not occur via the internet, therefore you need not concern yourself with shopping online. Instead, the majority of i.d. thefts occur when you pump your gas and leave your receipts behind or when someone swipes important information from your mailbox. However, to be extra safe, secured shopping sites with the “https:” address designation ensures that your vital information remains encrypted and out of harm’s way — if you still aren’t certain that a site is secure, you should see a padlock symbol in the bottom right corner of your browser’s screen. Importantly, in most cases you can also authorize the online retailer to discard your financial information once your order has been processed - a terrific extra security step for you!

Free Shipping - Many online retailers will ship Christmas and other seasonal gifts out for free. Generally, a minimum purchase total is required - typically $50 or more - but that amount isn’t hard to reach for most purchases. In some cases a retailer will wrap your gift and enclose a card for a small additional charge. What a great way to shop for the time pressed individual!

Favorable Return Policies - In the early days of online shopping, big concerns were raised about return policies. For instance, just how would you return that expensive digital camera you purchased online? Originally, you may have had to pay for return shipping and you may have been charged a restocking fee. Today, most online retailers have amended their return policies and will allow you to return items to a local store: buy a coffee maker on J.C. Penney’s secure website and if you don’t like it you can go to the mall and return it at the J.C. Penney store. Of course, you should examine the retailer’s return policy before you make any purchases online.

Truly, online Christmas shopping is an attractive option if battling for limited mall shopping spaces, dealing with surly sales help, or navigating big crowds has no appeal for you. Apparently, many consumers feel the same way as most online retailers report sales increases at double digit rates while year to year fixed base store sales are growing at a paltry 2 or 3 percent rate. Join the internet shopping revolution and start your online Christmas shopping today!

Student Loan Advice And Information

Posted on August 16th, 2008 in Uncategorized by leafs4594 || No Comment

Student Loans

For many students, the dream of getting a higher education just isn’t possible without the financial aid of a student loan. Fortunately, there are many opportunities out there to apply for and receive a student loan. And even better, bills.com http://bills.com is here to give you all the knowledge you need to choose the best student loan for you.

Student loans generally come from two sources: the federal government and private financial institutions, such as banks. Both require repayment of the loan, but that’s where the similarities end. Let’s take a look at both federal and private student loans.

Federal student loans are sponsored by the government and account for the biggest chunk of education loans. There are three main federal loan programs: The Perkins Loan, The Stafford Loan, and The Parent Loan For Undergraduate Students, also known as PLUS.

The Perkins Loan is the most affordable student loan, with an interest rate of 5% and low fees. But it’s also the hardest to get because it’s only given to those who need it the most. And the loan limit, at $4000, is the lowest of all three federal student loans.

The Stafford Loan comes with a variable interest rate that’s higher than the Perkins, but lower than the PLUS Loan, due to the cap at 8.25%. As with the Perkins Loan, this student loan does not hold credit worthiness against the applicant. The Stafford Loan also has a much higher loan limit and is offered to both graduate and undergraduate students.

Compared to the Perkins and Stafford Student Loans, which are borrowed in the student’s name, the PLUS Loan is completely different in that it is a loan for parents of dependent undergraduate students. A big advantage of this type of student loan is that it covers any remaining balance not covered by other forms of aid - in essence the loan limit covers your entire educational expense.

Now that we’ve familiarized ourselves with the different types of federal student loans, let’s identify the attributes of a private student loan. This is a loan from a financial institution that takes into account your creditworthiness, not your need for aid. Your credit is reviewed by lenders and if approved, you can get a substantial size student loan in minutes, sometimes up to $30,000. A downside to private student loans is that repayment terms typically cap at 15 years, compared to 30 years for a federal loan. Also, if you become disabled or deceased, your heirs are required to payoff your student loan, whereas in a federal loan, the loan is forgiven, making repayment unnecessary.

As you can see, you have several choices when it comes to student loans. Making sure you choose the best option is a matter of getting informed on these choices, and picking to student loan that best fits your needs.

The Plus Size Clothing Nightmare

Posted on August 15th, 2008 in Uncategorized by leafs4594 || No Comment

I’ve worn plus size clothing most of my adult life. And let me tell you, clothes shopping has really been an agravating experience to say the least. You go to the mall and visit the one store that carries sizes more than 1X. You browse the racks and find a nice pink blouse you’d really love to buy, and they DO have plus sizes, but YOUR SIZE PINK BLOUSE IS MISSING. ARRGH!

Or, you might find a pretty black bra that you’d love to have, but they are out of the 42DD. Pure frustration.

At first glance it looks like the big and beautiful store has a lot of items, but when you take into account that each item probably is displayed with 4-6 sizes, there really isn’t that much in one store. Even the big chain stores like Target, Walmart and K-Mart really have a limited supply of plus size clothing. And most of it isn’t very stylish.

And why do all other stores always put the women’s plus size clothing section right next to the Maternity section? I’m offended by that as a large woman, and I’d be offended by that as well if I were a pregnant woman. You have to make sure that you aren’t checking out the clothing that belongs in the maternity section.

Speaking of maternity wear, I know from personal experience that finding maternity clothes as a larger woman is murder! I seems that only the skinny girls get pregnant as far as the clothing manufacturers think. You have to find a special store that carries nothing but plus size maternity clothing, and lots of it.

To add to the frustration, they put the Petites section on the other side of the Women’s section. Come on…no big woman wants to shop next to all those perky little skinny girls.

It’s all so darn frustrating. But there is a solution. Shop online. More items, and more sizes, and total freedom to choose in your own home. An online store doesn’t have space restrictions and can display a thousand items with relative ease.

That’s easier said than done. Some online plus size women’s clothing stores carry a limited line. You have to visit many online shops to find what you want. It’s hard to find an online plus size fashion site that offers bigger size shirts, pants, suits, etc., from many designers and retail stores. An online plus size clothing store can pick clothing from many suppliers and designers, and make plus size fashions available at all price ranges. It can offer plus size lingerie, plus size boots, plus size coats and plus size swimwear. And it can stock a limitless selection of products, and sell them all in one place.

Sure, there are one or two large scale (excuse the pun) plus size shops online, if you can find them. Still, online shopping is definitely the way to go for us plus size women!

Create Passive Income with Ebooks and Special Reports

Posted on August 15th, 2008 in Uncategorized by leafs4594 || No Comment

Information products are a hot commodity in the online marketplace, transforming traditional entrepreneurs into infopreneurs. Ebooks and special reports are two of the most basic forms of info products. They are relatively easy to create and distribute and best of all, these products can generate passive income-money you make while you sleep.

An ebook is an electronic book that can be downloaded to a reader’s computer or hand-held device. Special reports are similar, but typically shorter in length. Some savvy internet marketers sell special reports ranging in size from two to twenty pages. Ebooks tend to be more comprehensive, with page counts from twenty to three hundred.

If you’ve been thinking about cashing in on this trend, then follow these simple steps to get started.

Establish Your Expertise

Everyone is an expert at something. Whether you are great at writing financial reports, organizing a home or training hamsters, you have something to offer the public. Sure there may be other people out there with similar qualifications, but that doesn’t mean that there isn’t room in the market for another expert. If you have a unique approach, you can compete with the best of them.

Building your expert status takes some effort. If you have special degrees in your field, a popular website, have published articles, been quoted by the media or given presentations on your topic, you are on the right track. If you don’t yet have these qualifications on your resume, start working on adding as many of these credibility-builders as possible.

Find Your Audience

You could write the most fascinating ebook on the planet, but your parents and friends will not be enough of an audience to make it worth your while. To be successful at selling ebooks and special reports, you must be able to reach a broad group of buyers. The best place to start is with a content-rich website.

For example, if you want to become an expert on dog training, your website should appeal to dog enthusiasts. To attract an audience, offer resources and articles that appeal to the dog-loving community. You can write your own articles or ask others to contribute content to your site. You can also locate articles available for reprint from sites like ezinearticles.com and ideamarketers.com. The key is to offer as much valuable information as possible. When your site visitors find value, they will be more interested in investing in the products you have for sale.

Communicating With Customers

One of the most effective ways to reach potential buyers is with an ezine. By sending a monthly or even weekly electronic newsletter, you accomplish several things at once: you get your name in front of your website visitors, you establish your credibility as someone who provides valuable information, and you can get your products in front of readers repeatedly. Studies show that the average consumer must be exposed to a product six to eight times before making a decision to buy. Your ezine can become a powerful tool for your information product business.

To capture subscribers to your ezine, provide a subscription link on every page of your website. You may want to offer a bonus, such as a complimentary special report or ebook, to entice visitors to sign up.

Create Your Products

Once your website is drawing traffic and your ezine is going out on a regular basis, you’re ready to create your first information product. First you must decide what topic to cover in your ebook or special report. Consider what information your site visitors want to know. Do you receive the same questions over and over? Answering those could be the basis of your first product. You could also survey your customer base to find out what interests them.

Once you know what your subject matter will be, then get to work on writing your first ebook or special report. It would be wise to have your content edited by either a friend or a professional so you can ensure you are delivering the best output possible. Don’t forget to include your website and contact information along with a copyright statement similar to the following:

Copyright © 2006 by Annie Author

Once your work is complete, you will want to convert it to a user-friendly format. Adobe PDF Creator software allows you to convert your document to PDF format which can be viewed on personal computers, Macintosh computers, and numerous handheld devices. You can also choose security settings to protect the contents of the document. If you don’t already own this software, you can visit www.adobe.com to convert up to five documents at no charge.

Automate the Sales Process

Once your finished product is ready to go, you will need to automate the sales process. You could add a link to your website and attempt to process payments and deliver your info products manually, but this will only leave you and your customers frustrated. One of the benefits of info products is the instant gratification. When a customer makes a purchase, he wants to access the product immediately instead of waiting for you to check your email and deliver the goods.

There are a variety of online merchant systems available and one such solution is offered by www.payloadz.com. This service manages the sales and delivery of electronic products. You can upload your file to Payloadz and create shopping cart buttons that can be placed on your website. When a customer makes a purchase, Payloadz will handle collecting the payment (which is processed via Paypal), and will send the buyer a link to download the product from their server. All you have to do is sit back and wait for the cash to hit your bank!

Market, Market, Market

Once your product is created and the sales and delivery process automated, your focus should be on marketing. Few businesses can be successful without marketing, and information products are no exception. Here are some ways to market online without breaking the bank:

*Publish articles in related industry publications and websites.

*Publish articles through content sites such as ezinearticles.com.

*Write a book. Being an author is an instant boost to your credibility and a book can open the doors to a variety of opportunities such as media appearances and speaking engagements.

*Form strategic alliances with website owners in your industry. Trade links to each other’s sites, swap ads in your ezines, or partner on a project or event.

*Be everywhere. Participate in teleconferences, internet radio interviews, blogs, and industry-related forums and chat rooms.

As your business grows, continue to evaluate what your customers want to know and develop products to meet those needs. Remember that it’s much easier to fill a need than to create one. And if you can do just two or three things each day to market your business, it shouldn’t be long before your website traffic and product sales exceed your wildest dreams.

Vitamins That Are Good For Getting Pregnant

Posted on August 15th, 2008 in Uncategorized by leafs4594 || No Comment

With the rise in older couples trying to become pregnant, there has also been a marked increase in fertility issues. Women’s bodies are at their prime during their early twenties on up to the thirties, but after that, pregnancy can seem an elusive challenge. However, with hormone therapies, women have more choices than ever. But for those women who want a more natural approach, recent research has shown that there are also vitamins good for fertility.

Fertility problems have grown by 25% in the past ten years and scientists are baffled. However, holistic experts believe that some of these problems are due to a lack of nutritious diets as well as other environmental factors. As a result, the body can not support itself through the process of becoming pregnant; resulting in irregular ovulation times, fewer viable eggs, and even problems with the male’s sperm. To combat this, couples may want to consider supplementing with vitamins good for fertility, and increase their overall chances of a pregnancy.

Women who are looking for vitamins good for fertility will not need to go to their doctor for prescriptions, but rather, they can head to their local grocery store or health food market for the right supplements. Vitamins that they will want to include are: folic acid (400mcg), flaxseed oil (1000mg), zinc (30mg), selenium (100mcg), vitamin E (200mg), vitamin C (1000mg), vitamins B6 (50 mg) and B12 (50 mcg) as well as manganese (5 mg). Taking these supplements on a daily basis is effective for creating ideal conditions in the body to aid in conception as well as prevents birth defects.

But men are not excluded from fertility responsibility. Though women are given most of the credit for helping with fertility, a man who takes vitamins good for fertility can also ensure that his sperm are ready for the all important moment of conception. Men should consider taking the same vitamins and minerals as their female counterparts, minus the folic acid, as well as add two amino acids to their routine: L-carnitine (100mg) and L-arginine (300mg). This combination of vitamins and supplements assists the overall sperm count to be more appropriate for conception.

The general course of supplementation of vitamins food for fertility should be started before couples actually begin their attempts to become pregnant. This will allow their bodies to make any necessary repairs as well as possibly correct any fertility issues that may have been caused by a lack of vitamin storage in their bodies. Most physicians and obstetricians recommend that couples undergo this kind of treatment process before turning to more conventional methods of fertility treatment for at least three months before beginning to attempt to conceive.

Undoubtedly, there is skepticism over the use of vitamins good for fertility as many physicians believe that troubles with conception are medical in cause. However, many of the reasons for these medical causes are being shown to be the result of a lack of proper body function because of poor nutrition. For example, women who are restrictively dieting can reduce their vitamin stores, which can then lead to problems with menstruation, hormonal control, and thus conception. It stands to prove that increasing one’s focus on nutrition will help to reverse these issues.

There are also many supplement combinations of vitamins good for fertility on the drug market today; many of which are available in drugstores or through online markets. Women and men should be careful to choose only reputable supplements as well as check with their doctors if they have outstanding medical conditions that might require medication advice. These supplement programs may need to be continued for a while until the actual pregnancy begins, but restoring the body to health is one of the best gifts that a mother can give to their unborn child.
